Turkey Tail Culture - 10 cc

Turkey Tail is a distinctive wood-decaying mushroom prized for its beautiful fan-shaped fruiting bodies. Depending on the strain and growing conditions, the concentric bands may display shades of brown, beige, gray, cream, and occasionally blue, giving the mushroom the appearance of a wild turkey's tail.

Found naturally on decaying hardwood logs and stumps, Turkey Tail is one of the world's most recognizable woodland mushrooms. It is a reliable species for cultivation and develops best on hardwood-based substrates. While grain colonization is vigorous, fruiting typically takes around one month under suitable growing conditions.

This 10 cc liquid culture syringe contains live mycelium intended for inoculating sterilized grain spawn. Once the grain is fully colonized, it can be used to inoculate a suitable hardwood fruiting substrate.
