Thank you for shopping with Foggy Coast Fungi. This Shipping & Returns Policy explains how orders, shipping, pickup, returns, refunds, and damaged items are handled.

Order processing

Orders are processed as quickly as possible. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, weather conditions, order volume, and whether the item is a live culture, grain spawn, grow kit, or other mushroom cultivation product.

If there is a delay with your order, we will contact you using the information provided at checkout.

Shipping

Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout when available.

We currently ship eligible products within Canada unless otherwise stated on the product page. Some products may not be available for shipping due to temperature, handling requirements, availability, or product type.

Customers are responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address. Foggy Coast Fungi is not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by an incorrect address.

Weather and temperature

Some mushroom cultivation products are sensitive to extreme heat or freezing temperatures. Shipping may be delayed during severe weather if we believe the product could be damaged in transit.

We may hold or delay shipment to protect the quality of the order.

Local pickup

Local pickup may be available for some orders. If local pickup is selected or arranged, we will contact you with pickup details.

Please wait for confirmation before arriving to pick up an order.

Live cultures, spawn, and sterile products

Liquid cultures, grain spawn, sterilized substrate, and other mushroom cultivation products are living or sterile products. Because of contamination risk and product handling concerns, these items cannot be returned once they have been shipped, opened, used, or removed from our control.

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

Damaged, incorrect, or defective items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a clear issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging.

We will review the issue and may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or another solution depending on the situation.

Returns

Due to the nature of mushroom cultivation products, we generally do not accept returns on liquid cultures, grain spawn, sterile substrate, grow kits, or other live or sterile products.

Unused non-perishable items may be considered for return if they are unopened, unused, and in original condition. Return approval is required before sending anything back.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by Foggy Coast Fungi.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed after the issue has been reviewed.

Refunds may be issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

We do not refund shipping costs unless the issue was caused by an error on our part.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Orders cannot always be cancelled once they have been prepared, shipped, or fulfilled.

Product results

Mushroom cultivation involves living organisms and customer handling after delivery. Foggy Coast Fungi cannot guarantee specific growing results once a product has been received, stored, opened, inoculated, or used.

We are happy to help with questions, but results can vary depending on storage, cleanliness, technique, temperature, humidity, and other growing conditions.
